The property was more specious than it first looked from the outside.  The kitchen was well equipped and for us oldies it was the first time we had used an Air Fryer !. The lounge was fine. The outside area and table was a gem and we used this to eat together most nights. The various other separate areas outside were useful to find a quiet spot.  The bathrooms were ideal ( 3 to share )  The 2 floor was well received by our two sons who shared the space and worked on occasions. The Air Conditioning  was also very helpful.  We  brought 3 cars that could be moved in and out independently which was useful.  We  also had two nice bikes so to lock the front gates was again useful.   Overall the property worked exceedingly well for eight of us and especially with the extra space available out side as required. The property was delightfully close to the beach; a coastal path; a bird hide and not to mention a small shop with most needed items and a few others too – e.g.ice cream.   Allan was brilliant too !  Thank you.    It is a great house, fantastic hosts and an amazing place to spend a glorious week.

Lovely house and well equipped.  – Private for a relaxing family holiday.  Location very good for the beach and for visiting other areas.  Our grandchildren enjoyed The Games Room – an added bonus

The cottage was well equipped had lovely comfortable beds and plenty of space to sit with the 3 generations staying over.  We were very lucky with the weather and the week went too fast.   Days out walking, swimming in the sea and paddle boarding.   Plantasia in Swansea, Wormshead, Rhossili and not to forget Joes Ice Cream !

We were so fortunate with the weather but even if the weather wasn’t so good we still would have had a wonderful holiday. A home away from home. The air conditioning on the top level was a surprise bonus and appreciated. The outside terrace/decking is glorious, shade throughout the day.

We had a wonderful stay. The attention to detail in the cottage was great, eg the equipment and plenty of crockery, glasses etc in the kitchen. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Location near the beach worked very well for our 3 generation family holiday. Also easy access to to other beaches, walks, facilities like shops and an impressive new seafront in Mumbles.

An excellent family house to stay, with great facilities and in a superb position. The hosts had provided everything we needed and more, and plenty of information about local attractions and walks, which was very useful. Loved it!

Our family stay, comprising adults and children, at the Gables was perfect both in the location and the excellent facilities provided, alongside the cleanliness. The hosts went out of their way to ensure everything was provided to ensure that they fully catered for all our needs, with their lovely welcoming personal touches being icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

A very comfortable cottage fir our Easter family holiday. There was everything that we needed. The location, just a short walk to the beach and many other lovely places to walk.

We had the loveliest of weekends in “The Gables” celebrating my husbands 60th with extended family. The house was able to accommodate all of us easily and very comfortably. The top floor was very popular with the youngsters (with a gorgeous view to the sea), the bedrooms generous and very comfortable and the kitchen and lounge area perfect for all of us to meet and eat together. The location is very quiet, the lane is not busy at all. Nothing to disturb your sleep apart from the bird song in the morning. Easy parking for 3 cars at least. With our two dogs it was perfect to just walk a very short distance to the beautiful Oxwich bay beach. Our lovely host left us with all the information we needed, including maps and walking suggestions. As an extra welcome gesture a little hamper with food goodies was waiting for us (those eggs from your farm were huge, thank you!) It was also very well catered for for our two dogs with extra cages provided. We are very much looking forward to coming again.
